Rough Cut Feedback From Class

• Need more footage
• Good lip syncing
• Needs more variation
• More editing needs to be done
• More cuts
• Good rythem

OUR ROUGH CUT!!!!

Our new footage we think has come out well although we haven't finished all the filming and editing we managed to get enough together to put something in for the the rough cut deadline.

EDITING

Once we captured our footage into the computer we began to edit it. And then the first hill blocked our view and we had a very difficult time matching up the lipsinking to the music, as when we filmed it we played to song in the back ground and we sang along to the lyrics but when we uploaded onto the computer the camera had the music not matching up with out lips!
But after long time working hard to match it up we sorted it all out and is starting to look like a music video. Only success to come!

Decision

We still needed more footage for our video so we began to brainstorm again, we came up with the main singer, bashing a door down walking through a corridor, singing the beginning of the song, we also need to do footage of some instrumental scene, such of playing a guitar, drums and scene of Toby singing into a micro phone.

FILMING

Our group has now began to film our new idea, since our last ideas went to pot. We decided to play it safe and film within collage so that if we needed to re do any footage it would be easy to access.
Our filming started with having our main singer (Toby) in a dark room with a big bright light shining in the corner, sining and dancing along to the whole of the song. We tried to get as many different angels and techniques in our footage. We then got footage of myself (Anneka) and Jack, dancing and sinning along with the song, this gave us some great footage and options to use throughout the video.

New Ideas!!

After alot of thinking and planning we came up with a new idea, where we will just have a plan and simple, shots of the singer(Toby) walking through hallways, inside and outside, through crowds of people at lots of different angles. We also have plans to slow doown shots so it will ook like everyone if in slowmotion apart from Toby. We plant o film this footage, in college and around Cambridge and in the town centre.

DISASTER!

Unfortunately we have had to scrap our entire idea due to unforseen circumstances. Because of this we have been forced to come up with an entirly new concept. Our orginal plans where to have some shots ina fancy dress shop in Cambridge coming out of the changing rooms in funny costumes but all the fancy dress shop in Cambridge would not allow us to film due to copyright laws. So we have had to think up whole new concept over night.
